Distribution of Ration Kits
Many people are not lucky enough to get one meal a day. SuryaShobhaVandana Foundation distributes kits to families which live along roadside, which have poor conditions, schools and other places. In which, organization provides ration for one month.
Organization distributes nutritional ration kits to economically backward classes and needy persons. Till now more than 1500 ration kits have been distributed in different areas of Ahmedabad.
Approximately, 30 families which live in vasahat near Jantanagar railway crossing in Ahmedabad face lot of hardships in daily life. For them who struggle in such bad conditions, the only solution is to earn money by selling their sweat. If one gets labour job, then either one gets two meals or can go to bed hungry. During rainy season, to make their life of such families easier, SuryaShobhaVandana Foundation distributed ration kits (consisting of rice, dal, flour, etc..).
Ration kits were distributed to economically poor families living on road in Paldi area of Ahmedabad. In Paldi area, many people live on roadside after working whole day, such families were distributed with ration kits by SuryaShobhaVandana Foundation. Above that, organization distributed ration kits in slum areas of Paldi village. This way, more than 600 ration kits were distributed in Paldi area.
SuryaShobhaVandana Foundation distributed 400 ration kits to school children at Signal School in Vastrapur Government Estate. Thus, organization has been distributing and will distribute ration kits in many other areas.
